How Finland Seniors handles reader questions, what the contact form collects, and where the blog stands on independence.
What the form collects
The reader question form asks for your first name, an email address, your province, the topic your question falls under, the question itself, and a checkbox confirming whether we may publish it. Nothing else is requested, and no account or profile is created when you send it in.
How submissions are stored
When a form is submitted, the handler writes the entry to a local file at /private/submissions.jsonl. Each record includes the submitted values, the time of submission, the form identifier, the page language and the source query string from the request. There is no email notification, no CRM and no third-party transfer.
Retention and removal
There is no automatic deletion schedule. Entries stay in the log until the site owner removes them by hand. If you would like a question you sent to be deleted or corrected, write to us and we will remove the record from the log.
Your rights
You can ask for access to what we hold about you, request a copy in a portable format, ask for corrections, or withdraw consent for publication at any time. Readers in the EU and California have the same options under GDPR and CCPA. Send any such request to the address below.
Editorial independence
Finland Seniors is an independent blog written in plain English and updated weekly from Johannesburg, South Africa. We do not run sponsored rankings, paid placements or affiliate promotions, and nothing published here is financial, legal or medical advice. We do not make claims about results, use invented urgency, or present endorsements that did not happen. If a piece is a worked example rather than a report, we say so.
